Ever since falling in love with the Himalayas in India and Nepal, I have been drawn to the great mountain ranges of High Asia. The Karakoram, Hindu Kush and Pamirs have all captured my imagination, and now, finally, I had the chance to experience the magnificent Tian Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
